A romantic sunset cruise on board the 50ft yacht, Outeniqua is the perfect way to discover the Knysna heads, lagoon and surrounds.
The magnificent Knysna Heads are among the most remarkable features on South Africa’s coastline and a perfect backdrop for an ocean sunset and a spot of bubbly. This sailing activity takes you from the lagoon, through the heads to the open sea aboard a luxurious yacht.
Although we are not a permitted whale watching vessel, guests can expect to see a diverse range of marine life from whales and dolphins to a host of pelagic birds endemic to our pristine coastline.
After a sublime sail, we return to the calmer waters of the Knysna Estuary and serve a delicious feast of Mediterranean style cuisine along with a glass of fine South African Cap Classique.
All our trips are ocean going trips and are weather and sea conditions dependent. Only the skipper of the vessel can make a judgement call on these conditions which are determined on the day of the charter. Conditions are influenced by tide, wind direction & speed and sea swell, therefore going out through the Knysna Heads is never guaranteed.
Included in the price is a delicious Mediterranean platter and a complimentary glass of South African bubbles.
There are onboard WC faciliites as well as cash bar and credit card facilities.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
