Along the Garden Route, this include Knysna Elephant Park, where littluns can walk and ride the mighty beasts, and canopy tours, encounter ostriches, thrill at an adventure park or join a meerkat patrol.
Whale-watching charters can be adapted for young spotters, as can safaris. Certain game lodges also have distinct infant offerings too – at Tswalu, for instance, the Junior Ranger programme teaches spoor identification, fire-assembling, bow-and-arrow-making and the opportunity to cook a bush dinner.
Zulu dancing displays and village visits provide an opportunity for children to make friends with South Africans of an equivalent age, and learn about their lives.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
