Families with older kids can choose between oceanic options. Most active is sea-kayaking around Cape Point, shortly followed by an excursion blending cycling to Green Point Lighthouse with a walking tour of some city sights.
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is less demanding, and families can do this of a morning before ascending Table Mountain.
Thought the Winelands would only appeal to alcohol-glugging adults? Think again: our family day-out there involves chocolate, Segways and substitute grape juice. Equally captivating is a Scavenger Hunt around Cape Town proper on which there are puzzles to solve and tasks to complete.

Our staff regularly visit the places and accommodation that we feature.
When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
